Stars and Stripes

With 4th of July festivities and the weather still at a high this past weekend, I decided to continue showing my pride with this spirited blue striped dress. Even though I tried to avoid the sauna  New York City Saturday when it reached 100+ out, I reluctantly had to drive away my dreams of lounging poolside and swap them for an afternoon brunch surrounded by my crazy distant family. To brace the heat, I decided to pair a light cotton dress with neutral wedges and my current obsession- my Por la Victoire handbag. To top it all off, I accessorized with a small necklace and light bangle to keep it simple.
