Amsterdam's flower market was the first stop of the day. Rows of vendors lined along one of the many city's canal sold flower bulbs ready for planting, cacti, and hundreds of fresh flowers.

Travel Diaries: Amsterdam in August

Earlier this week my family and I decided to take an impromptu trip to Amsterdam. We left late last night and 7 hours later we finally landed in Amsterdam. Because of how spontaneous our plans were, we decided to just walk around and eventually found our way to the city center. A day of walking around the city required flats so I opted for my black Dolva Vita studded sandals.

Our first day we hit up a bunch of the the tourist spots including Dam Square, the Van Gogh Museum, and finally, the IAMSTERDAM sign. The weather out was a bit windy but sunny, so I decided to pair a basic white tee with these new leopard print pants I scored from Zara. These trousers are becoming a favorite. Too bad I cant wear them everyday- the prints a bit too memorable.

It seems like I started my internship at Yigal Azrouel ages ago. In reality, the past 3 months have flown by and unfortunately, today was my last day. I learnt so much about the fashion industry while working for the company's PR department. To celebrate my experience there I thought I'd show you guys some behind the scenes pictures of Yigal and the office.

Starry Night Dominoes

Domino artist, FlippyCat, used 7,067 dominoes to recreate Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night painting. 11 hours later, on his second attempt, FlippyCat finally managed to complete his domino masterpiece. The video below shows the evolution of his creation.

DIY: Leopard Spots

I am always looking for simple and easy ways to add some fun to my clothing. This DIY from Because I'm Addicted couldn't be easier and completely transforms the look of these shorts! I may have to try this out myself. You could even add these leopard spots to an pair of old jeans and wear them year round.
