Color-blocked lids made quite the statement at the Fendi Spring 2013 show. Makeup artist, Peter Phillips found a very literal way to incorporate the fabrics used into the models makeup. "We wanted to bring the [tones] of the collection to the makeup, and the best way to do that seemed to be using actual fabric from the show" describes Phillips. He cut up paper thin pieces of multicolored neoprene from an old bathing suit and applied the pieces with tweezers and adhesive to the models eyes to create these bold outlines.

Compare & Contrast
I've been obsessed with these Kirkwood X Pilotto heels for quite a while now- too bad they are ridiculously expensive and sold out everywhere. Luckily, I stumbled across these awesome nastygal lucite heels that I could easily DIY with some plastic flowers.

Anna Dello Russo always seems to surprise us with her over the top ensembles and personality. This insane music video is absolutely just as shocking. Made in collaboration with H&M for the launch of their upcoming accessories collection, Dello Russo poses with various items like the aligator cat eye sunglasses and gold caged heels that will land in stores on October 4th. Mark your calendars!

S'mores Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies
Last night my friend and I couldn't help but crave chocolate chip cookies. Too bad I found this recipe today- probably saved me thousands of calories though. Next time I think were going to have to go all out and make these bad boys.

Alexander Wang Spring 2013
One word to describe Alexander Wang's Spring 2013 show is DRAMA. This designer knows how to capture the audiences attention with his incredibly sexy deconstructed leather garments. He's created the illusion that they are effortlessly floating on the models bodies -thanks to the invisible fish line embroidering. The extraterrestrial influence is visible throughout the entire collection, and was only further enhanced when black lights came on for the finale, transforming his models into glowing green alienish figures. The clothes themselves weren't the only dramatic aspect to the show- Liberty Ross strutted down the catwalk (her husband had the scandalous affair with Kristen Stewart... ringing any bells now?) alongside Erin Wasson. Plus, every editor, Justin Theroux (sans Jenn Aniston), and A$AP Rocky were all in attendance at the show. Leave it to Wang to push boundaries. All aboard the sci fi band wagon!

Melting Pot
Perler beads- the tiny plastic beads us 90's children grew up on. Lay them out and throw an iron on top to watch them magically fuse together to create any girly shape or character you could image. French born, Shanghai based designer, Sabine Ducasse, has taken this to an entirely new level with her fashion line, Melting Pot. The artist has managed to create an East meets West armor type piece (along with the rad glasses shown below) awesome enough to win her a scholarship at the International Fashion Academy.
